Even if you don’t know his name, I bet you all know “the voice” behind most of the US movie trailers: “This summer… in cinemas…” well, he was Don La Fontaine, Cinema Guy, or Preview Man. He passed away monday, and I bet movie trailers will just not be the same without his voice… He was 68, had a 33 years long career, and did voice-overs for more than 5,000 movie trailers, 350,000 commercials and thousands of television promos.
